The new Employee Management module in Payvo.me is designed to centralized your workforce data. From defining base salaries to organizing departments, here is how you can master the system.

Step-by-Step Guide: Adding a New Employee

1. Define Your Departments

Before adding people, create the structures they belong to.

  1. Click the cyan "Add Department" button.
  2. Enter names like HR, Operations, or Engineering in the modal.
  3. Save to populate your dropdown lists for future use.

2. Create the Profile

Click the primary "Create Employee" button to reveal the form.

  • Employee ID: Use your internal tracking number (e.g., 2334422).
  • Contact Info: Email and Phone are crucial for notifications.
  • Financials: Set the Base Salary. This acts as the default for monthly processing.

Managing Lifecycle: Editing & Status

Employees move, get promoted, or leave. By clicking "Edit" on any employee record, you can update their address, salary, or position.

Offboarding? You don't need to delete historical data. Simply uncheck the "Employee is active" box in the edit modal. This preserves their history for reports while removing them from active payroll lists.
